GOSPEL OF CHRIST

In this booklet you’ll learn different methods in presenting the gospel. There is no single formula or a single way of sharing the gospel. These are methods that will help you remember and present the key points of the gospel. At the heart the the gospel is The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God and what he has done on our behalf to bring us salvation and eternal life.

Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures

– 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Presenting the gospel begins with an explanation on why the gospel matters. After presenting gospel is a call to respond to the gospel. It is the answer to question found Acts 2:37 after Peter’s sermon ” “Brothers, what shall we do?”.  The response is “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” Romans 10:13
